So, here's my first creative idea and success. I learned from one of my associates at work how to make these cool embroidered cards. I have done some testing, and this is my best so far. You can get tons of patterns or even make your own. I have the thread and some needles, though I need better ones, and I just need to get some good thick cardstock. But basically you sew these cards and then put whatever message you want on them.
My goal is to sell them on etsy, where I already have an account, and make enough bulk to make little gift packages of them. Selling them as a kit, like 4 in a pack or something. This is just the embroider, not the whole card, (my mom took them back to MI when she went home, so I gotta start my own collection now.) Let me know what you think. What would you be willing to spend on a hand made card? I'll post when I get some good cardstock and make some actual cards, not just the base picture. Here's my butterfly!
Now, close-up it's not as cool as the overall look of the card, but here's one my friend did for me for my baby shower...it's pretty much amazing. I already have one customer, for wedding invitations, so I better get started. Gotta find some rings patterns, or something elegant!!
Mar these are so neat! I love them :)
